Your Encryption Key

Your encryption key is generated on your device and is known only to you. It is the only way to access your vault. This isn't just a policy; it's a technical reality. Only you hold the key, meaning only you can ever decrypt your files.

CRITICAL: Your Key is Your Responsibility.

If you lose your encryption key, your data becomes indecipherable noise, forever. We cannot help you recover it. Back up your key and store it somewhere safe. This is the trade-off for true data sovereignty.
